Life can feel noisy, can’t it? So many choices, endless demands, and a constant pull in a dozen directions. Somewhere between the to-do lists and the busy schedules, it’s easy to lose track of what matters most.
At Sweet Bombdiggity Farms, we’ve been leaning into rhythms — small, intentional choices that shape our days and give us room to breathe. The animals, the garden, the kitchen, the work we love… all of it flows better when we choose rhythms that work for us instead of falling into ones that drain us.
Some rhythms are about rescue. Creating a safe space for animals to heal has become one of the sweetest parts of our life. Every donkey, goat, duck, and chicken here carries a story, and their healing reminds us daily that slow, steady care changes everything.
Some rhythms are about community. Lane and I both work at UT Knoxville, where I teach marketing and he serves as an administrator. Mentoring students, cheering on their growth, and showing up for them has become one of our deepest joys.
And some rhythms are about creating and curating. Sharing the little pieces of our story — from the tools we love to the recipes we make — connects us to you in the sweetest ways.
But some rhythms are quieter. Sharing a homemade meal with Lane. Taking a deep breath on the porch before the day gets busy. Pausing long enough to notice the soft nudge of what matters most.
If life feels full or overwhelming right now, you’re not alone. The good news is that the reset you need doesn’t have to be big. It starts small — with a single rhythm.
That’s why I created the Rhythm Reset Worksheet. It’s a simple, printable guide to help you pause, notice what’s working, let go of what isn’t, and design days that leave space for the things that matter most.
