I still remember the sound.
A crash, a sharp inhale, and silence.
It was a bowl—my grandmother’s.
One of those treasures that holds more than soup… it holds memories.
And now? Shattered into a million pieces.
Life can feel like that too sometimes—
Something precious, broken beyond repair.
A relationship, a dream, even a part of yourself.
But Colossians 1:18–20 (The Message) gives us hope because of Jesus.
Supremacy: Jesus Christ is in a league of His own. There is no one like Him. He has full authority over everything and everyone.
Scope: His power and presence have no boundaries. Jesus is spacious and expansive. Everything finds its proper place in Him and because of Him.
Specialization: Jesus specializes in restoring what’s broken. All the shattered and dislocated pieces—people and things—get properly fixed and fit back together in vibrant harmonies because of His sacrifice on the Cross.
We’ve lived this.
Our own list of broken places was long.
But Jesus met us there—and fit it all back together in ways we never imagined.
If He can do it for us, He can do it for you too.
Amazing things happen when you bring everything to Him.
