Acts 3 and 4 tell an amazing story about faith and healing. A man who had been crippled since birth, for over forty years, sat every day at the temple gate begging for money. His situation seemed hopeless and unchanging.

Then one ordinary day became extraordinary. As Peter and John entered the temple to pray, the man begged them for money. Peter looked him straight in the eye and said, “I don’t have a nickel to my name, but what I do have, I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Peter reached out, took his hand, and helped him up. Instantly, the man’s feet and ankles grew strong. He jumped up and began walking, leaping, and praising God. (Can you imagine the sight?!)
Later, when people questioned the miracle, Peter made it clear: “Faith in Jesus’ name, faith and nothing but faith, made this man healed and whole.”
This week, let’s pause and ask ourselves what holds us back or is crippling us. Is it shame & guilt from the past, financial strain, broken relationships, or a physical struggle? Whatever it may be, remember this truth: faith in the name of Jesus still heals, restores, and makes us whole. There is power in the name of Jesus.
