Good morning friends, It’s #FarmSunday. Today, we want to share with you a tale of resilience, transformation, and the unwavering love of God. Our story revolves around our beautiful paint rescue horse named Amelia, who, like many of us, embarked on a journey of healing and trust.
Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.
Amelia’s journey began in a way none of us would wish upon anyone. She arrived at our farm from a kill pen, her spirit shattered, her trust in humanity shattered, and her fear palpable. She kept her distance, avoiding any human interaction. We couldn’t approach her in the field, and she would flee at the slightest hint of our presence. Touching her, especially on her face, was out of the question. Basic care tasks, like lifting her hooves or brushing her, seemed like distant dreams.
But like God’s unwavering love, we never gave up on Amelia. We kept showing up, right alongside her, day after day. We extended our hands in friendship, even when she couldn’t see the trustworthiness in our eyes. We patiently waited, just as we await the arrival of Jesus.
Today, the fruits of that unyielding faith and love are felt daily—by both Amelia and us. She trusts us, she seeks our company, and she has allowed us to tend to her needs. Amelia’s transformation mirrors the transformative power of God’s love in our lives when we trust in Him.
In the end, Amelia’s journey serves as a reminder that, no matter how broken or distant we may feel, God is right alongside us, never giving up, always patient, and always ready to help us heal.
