Ever feel like all your hard work, all your efforts to help others and do good, goes unnoticed or falls flat? Maybe you’ve wondered if it’s even worth it. But here’s the truth: it is worth it.
Galatians 6:9-10 (MSG) tells us “Let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
It’s a promise: the seeds we plant through acts of kindness, love, and service will bloom, but only if we keep at it. Sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of that, especially when we’re tired or when it feels like no one sees what we’re doing. But the truth is, God sees, and He’s working through us.
We also don’t need to look far to find those in need of our love and care. Start close to home—within your own community, your family, your friends. It’s often the people nearest to us who need us the most.
So this week, when you feel the weight of doing good, don’t quit. Keep going. You may not see the harvest right away, but it’s coming—and it will be worth it.
Be blessed this week, friends.
