#FarmSunday Devotional: We are praying for you

Sometimes when I’m doing farm chores, working in the garden, or driving to an appointment, I start praying without even realizing it—little whispers of thanks or simple hopes for someone I love. Lately, I’ve been praying for you. For the folks who stop here each Sunday. For the ones walking through seasons both heavy and hopeful.

In Colossians 1:3–5 (The Message), Paul writes: Our prayers for you are always spilling over into thanksgivings. We can’t quit thanking God our Father and Jesus our Messiah for you! We keep getting reports on your steady faith in Christ, our Jesus, and the love you continuously extend to all Christians. The lines of purpose in your lives never grow slack, tightly tied as they are to your future in heaven, kept taut by hope.

That verse holds so much truth and tenderness.

This week, our prayer is for your:

Faith to remain steady in Jesus Christ.

May your faith support and strengthen you so that you remain unshaken by trials, temptations, doubts, or fear. A faith that helps you stand firm, walk forward, and trust—even in the waiting.

Love that you extend to others.

May the love you give multiply and bring blessing. May your kindness point others to Christ through your actions, your presence, and your willingness to serve and sometimes sacrifice.

Hope that holds your purpose tight.

May your heart stay fixed on heaven—on the future that gives your life meaning. When life feels uncertain, may your hope remind you of where you’re going, not where you’ve been.

This week, we’re praying for your faith, your love, and your hope. We pray that the deep riches of Jesus Christ will be yours—and that you’ll experience what it truly means to have Christ in you, the hope of glory.
