We chase a lot of things in this life — but true joy isn’t something we earn or stumble across by accident. It’s something we experience when we live anchored in God’s presence.
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Presence, Path, Provision
Presence. His presence brings complete joy. Not just a spark that eventually fizzles, but fullness. And because God’s presence is everywhere, we always live in His presence, and joy is always possible.
Path. God doesn’t leave us wandering. He shows us the way — through Jesus.
Promised provision. His pleasure, care, guidance, and blessings are enough for today and tomorrow. Real, lasting delight is found at His right hand, not in temporary things.
This week, let’s reflect on the joy we can live in — not chase — when we walk in His presence, trust His path, rely on His provision, and rest in His pleasures.

Taking It Into Your Week
- Name the thing you are currently chasing for joy. Ask how long the last one lasted.
- Look for His presence somewhere ordinary this week — a sunrise over the field, a full feeder, a quiet kitchen.
- Write down one place He clearly showed you the path, even though it did not feel like it at the time.
