Recently, we hosted 20 amazing students at our home for a chicken coop-building pizza party! 🍕🐔 It was such a fun day filled with teamwork, laughter, and the satisfaction of creating something meaningful. By the end of the day, five sweet hens (most of them with special needs) officially had a new place to call home in the city!
If you’ve been following along, you know we’ve been excited about bringing chickens to our Knoxville nest. Yes, we did need a license to keep chickens in the city, but the process was surprisingly easy. Now, our girls are happily settled into their new digs—a shiny, spacious Omlet Eglu Pro chicken coop with a walk-in run—and they love it!
Why I Chose the Omlet Eglu Pro
• Durable and Predator-Resistant: Made with sturdy materials, it provides excellent protection for my girls, even in the city.
• Walk-In Run: The 9-foot walk-in run connects directly to the coop, making it easier for me to check on the hens without bending or crouching (my knees thank me!).
• Easy to Clean: With pull-out trays and a smart design, keeping the coop fresh is a breeze.
• Comfortable and Secure for Chickens: The insulated design is perfect for all weather conditions, keeping the hens cozy year-round.
• Expandable Options: Omlet offers so many add-ons and customization options to fit your flock’s needs.
Omlet doesn’t just cater to chickens—they have incredible habitats and supplies for rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and even dogs! Right now, they’re offering an amazing sale: 20% off through Black Friday. I’ve never seen a deal like this before! Head to my bio for a link to check it out and treat your pets to something special.
We couldn’t be happier to have our little flock right here in the city. A huge thank you to our students who came out to help us make this dream a reality—your kindness and energy made this day unforgettable!
