Unsung Cut Flower Garden Must Have: Helleborus

Cluster of pink and cream speckled hellebore blooms with rain drops on the petals and leaves

Happy Saturday Friends! ✨ Today we’re celebrating the unsung hero of our spring garden: the Helleborus, also known as Lenten Rose. These beauties are the first to pop up in early spring, bursting into color as early as February and keeping our garden vibrant through late spring. They also have a great vase life! 🌼 Not only do their blooms last from winter’s end all the way into spring — longer than many other plants — but these hardy perennials also multiply each season by dropping their seed pods. Want more in another spot? Just separate them and plant away. Here’s to the powerhouse of our spring cutting garden – we celebrate you, Helleborus!
