🐐🐴 🫏 A HUGE shoutout to our awesome farrier, Jeff! Today he worked his magic on 6 goats, 4 donkeys, and 2 horses, but I’m especially fascinated by goat hooves and asked him to share a few things! 🐐❤️
Here are a few tips and visuals for you goat lovers:
1️⃣ Regular Trimming: Keep those hooves trimmed to prevent discomfort and health issues. This video shows you Jeff’s approach and it works so well for our babies.
2️⃣ Check for Debris: Clean out any dirt or stones to avoid infections.
3️⃣ Observe Walk: A goat’s walk can tell you a lot about their hoof health.
Our babies are happy and comfy this afternoon, and I am ohhhh so grateful for the care and love Jeff gives our crew. Thanks, Jeff! 🐐 🫏 🐎
