Here’s a simple tea recipe using purple nettle to help with inflammation and boost immunity. Give it a try!

Purple Nettle Immunity Tea

– 1-2 tablespoons of fresh purple nettle leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried)

– 1 slice of fresh ginger (about 1 inch)

– 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness but I totally recommend! 😂)

– 1 slice of lemon

– 2 cups of boiling water

Instructions:

1️⃣ Rinse the purple nettle leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. If you’re using fresh leaves, chop them coarsely.

2️⃣ Place the purple nettle leaves and ginger slice in a tea infuser or directly in a teapot. Pour boiling water over the leaves and ginger, and allow them to steep for about 10 minutes.

3️⃣ Remove the tea infuser or strain the tea to remove the leaves and ginger. Squeeze the lemon slice into the tea for a boost of vitamin C and a bright flavor.

4️⃣ Add honey to taste, stirring well to blend.

5️⃣ Enjoy! 💜 🫖
