#FunFindsandFlowersFriday As I look around my home this holiday season, I’m reminded of how many sweet memories are tied to the objects I cherish. These little treasures carry stories, love, and a connection to the past. If you’re missing someone this holiday season, I hope the memories they left behind bring you comfort, too.
This week’s finds are especially dear to my heart:
A blue ball jar full of buttons from my Grandma Sue’s collection. A home economics teacher who wasted nothing, she kept every button that might someday find a purpose. To me, it’s a jar of creativity and care.
My Daddy’s metal horses. He adored them as a child, and now they sit proudly in my home. They’re a small but mighty reminder of his playful spirit.
A wooden kissing box that once belonged to my great-grandmother, along with her glasses. When you open the box, the little heads turn to kiss—still charming, even if a bit rickety!
A photo of my parents in their early years of marriage. Young, vibrant, and so in love. I imagine them reunited in heaven, just as they are in this picture.
These keepsakes remind me that love and memory are the most precious treasures we can carry. What special memories or treasures warm your heart this season?
